Three Shadows +3 Gallery (Beijing) presented on July 11, 2016 the newest monograph by Bohnchang Koo, White Vessels, which includes 12 platinum art works. White Vessels was issued by the Korean publisher Yido, and the platinum works were made by Japanese company Amanasalto.

There are two different version of this platinum book: a regular and deluxe set. The regular set includes the book ‘White Vessels’ alongside three out of six 8x10 inch platinum works and a certificate signed by the artist. Production was limited to 24 sets. The deluxe set – limited to ten copies – includes the book along with 12 platinum works and a certificate from the artist.








Bohnchang Koo

Photographer and Curator, South Korea

Bohnchang Koo graduated from Yonsei University with a major in Business Administration before studying photography in Germany. He’s now a professor at Kyungil University and Chairman of the Parkgeonhi Foundation. He has held more than 40 exhibitions globally, and his works have been collected by many public institutions like the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art, the Museum of Fine Arts in Houston, Kahitsukan - Kyoto Museum of Contemporary Art, the National museum of Modern Art of Korea and more. He served as art director of Daegu Photo Biennale 2008, joint curator of French Photoquai photography Festival and was a nominee of the ‘Discovery Award’ at the Arles Photography Festival in 2013. He’s also the author of ‘Deep Breath in Silence’ ,’Revealed Personas’ ,’Vessels for the Heart’ , ‘Hysteric Nine’ ,’Vessel’ ‘Everyday Treasures,’ and more. He served as a judge for the 2015 Three Shadows Photography Award.
